Privacy Policy.

This policy applies to visitors to our public website, and to candidates who register for an account, apply to a program, book a Clarity Call, or otherwise interact with LEAD Career & Professional Development Private Limited ("LEAD", "we", "us"). For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), LEAD is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.

We collect personal data you provide directly to us:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash; we never store or can see your actual password).
• Profile information — your current status (e.g. fresher, job seeker), experience, area of interest, and career goal.
• Resume and career information — an uploaded resume file and/or resume text you provide, used for program applications and optional AI-assisted resume analysis and job matching.
• Application and enquiry information — the programs and departments you apply to, and details you share when booking a Clarity Call (name, email, phone, and current status).
• Usage information — standard technical data such as IP address and browser information, collected for security (e.g. rate-limiting against abuse) and basic site analytics.

• To create and manage your candidate account and portal.
• To process and track your applications to LEAD programs.
• To provide AI-assisted resume analysis and job-matching, where you choose to use these features — your resume text is shared with a trusted third-party service acting on our behalf solely to generate this analysis, and is not used to train any public or third-party AI model.
• To schedule Clarity Calls, including generating a calendar invitation and video meeting link and sending you booking confirmations and reminders.
• To send you service communications — password reset emails, application status updates (by email and/or WhatsApp), and, where you have applied, occasional reminders about applications still in progress.
• To maintain the security, integrity and proper functioning of the platform.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under instructions from us, strictly to provide the platform:

• Cloud hosting and database providers, who store your account and application data.
• Cloud storage providers, who store uploaded resume files.
• An AI analysis service, used only if you use the resume-analysis or job-matching features.
• Email delivery and calendar/video-conferencing providers, used to send you communications and to run Clarity Calls.
• WhatsApp's official Business Platform, used only to send you application status updates you would otherwise receive by email.

None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not share your data with any other third party except where required by law.

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure, with servers currently located in Singapore. Data in transit is encrypted, and passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to candidate data within LEAD is restricted to authorised admin accounts.

We retain your account and application data for as long as your account remains active, or as reasonably needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Section 7.

Under the DPDP Act and as a matter of our own policy, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request erasure of your data, subject to any legal or contractual retention requirements.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing, such as AI resume analysis, at any time.
• Raise a grievance about how your data has been handled (see Section 9).

We use a small number of essential cookies: a secure session cookie that keeps you logged in, and a non-sensitive cookie that lets the site show the right navigation state. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

If you have a concern about how your personal data has been handled, contact our Grievance Officer at admin@leadcareer.co.in. We will acknowledge your request and respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy from time to time as the platform evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do, and material changes will be communicated to registered candidates.
